    hmmm... i like your thinking Leeann... yes, i definitely think it would depend on the guy... if it was some freak, it wouldn't really matter what he said - intelliegent or no - the answer would be 'get back you, i've got mace and i'm not afraid to use it!!'. however, if there was an up front attraction, the goofy line to break the ice would prolly not be bad.

    ps your last blog just described my dream man... now, just how to go about finding him... =)

    I think it's more cheezy cute, because it's inventive, direct, and pretty much harmless. In fact, it does break the ice and there's no real sexual connotation or other meaning.

    And look...we're talking about it!
