The Hottest Kiddie Toy On The Market?? "DON'T KILL ME" ELMO

A toddler's talking book starring a lovable Muppet delivers a message more suited to a Nine Inch Nails fan:
The new book, "Potty Time With Elmo," was supposed to teach an interactive lesson using voice commands.
However, when the book's buttons are pressed, it reportedly says something it is not supposed to -- "who wants to die?" Manufacturers are stating this is due to a programming glitch, and what Elmo is really supposed to be saying it "who wants to try and go potty." Rrrrrright... I can see how these two phrases could sound the same.
Personally, I find the concept of "Potty Time With Elmo" equally as disturbing as death threats from Elmo. And secondly, I believe you must question the parenting abilities of someone who is subcontracting the potty training lesson to an Elmo book.
On a side note, I think Elmo would be a perfect candidate for a walk on role in the new Butch and Poco movie... Elmo, baby? Have your people call our people.

    I think its bad enought that we have to go to the bathroom in the first place, but it is like the most natural instinct you can have, so I dont think you need a toy to tell you do it. Do we as a society need a toy that wants to go crap with us, eewwww, kind of creepy.

    Actually, it's just trying to teach/tell you where to crap. That part does need to be learned--and from the condition I've seen of some public restrooms, something for which I think refresher courses might be required for some people.

    "Poop With Me Elmo" - now available at your local public restroom! Just pop in your quarter and turn the handle, and Elmo will guide you through the formal etiquette of pottying.

    Man, the Sesame Street people have gone too far! I mean, yeah, so Disney has been known to get a little lewd, asking Jasmine to take off her clothes and stuff, and we're not even going into all that stuff with the Lion King... but death threats? For shame, Sesame Steet...

    First they limit Cookie Monster cookie consumption (and we all know what the natural consequences of THAT will be... mark my words!), and now this?

    Violence is never the answer.

    Not even if the kid can't figure out how to potty properly.
