Wednesday's Random Poll
Ok, I know y'all have heard it by now... it only plays EVERY 5 MINUTES... The Belgian band DHT has released the song Listen To Your Heart, originally done by Roxette back in the 80's... so... which do you prefer:
*The slower, way melodramatic DHT version
or
*The upbeat, '80's rock' Roxette version
Please, listen to your heart... and let me know what you think...

OK, just listened to samples of both and I can unequivocally say without doubt that I stand by my first vote: Roxette all the way!
DHT's interpretive sound is too techno-generic.

I love Roxette, but I love slow songs, and I heard a sample of DHT, that was a club mix, and a semi accoustic version, and I must say I do like it very much and I like the sound of the band very much. I would concider buying a CD or two from this group. But I still want the Best of Roxette. I am a little torn, but I think I like the mellow DHT alot, but I Still like the energy of Roxette, so I am not a good person to ask I guess.

I am speechless - not because of the sheer musicality of the cover, but because someone would take the time to do the cover.
Why are we redoing everything these days? Movies, TV shows, Songs . . . we have no more originality left.
